The following analysis modules have been released to the market, compatible with CYME and CYMDIST revision 5.02 and following
The Integrated Protection Device Coordination module enables electrical engineers to perform analyzes that need protection data and to design their coordination scheme on a single software platform. The CYMTCC database now available with the module contains more than 15,000 devices, that is, the equivalent of more than 100,000 curves from North American, European and Asian manufacturers.
The Contingency Load Flow module was created to assist you in analyzing contingencies related to load flows. It works in conjunction with CYME / CYMDIST 5.02 power flow analysis modules and subsequent versions. It enables the network engineer to create single or multiple contingency events and outage scenarios and compare the results with a base case network and connectivity.
The Voltage Stability module with the P-V curve method evaluates the safety of the electrical system in terms of voltage stability. Currently, voltage stability problems pose the greatest risk when planning and operating large power systems. The program was created to respond to this challenge by evaluating the capacity of an electrical network to maintain an adequate margin of voltage stability when subjected to various contingencies and load conditions.
